Time Warner Cable ArtZone
Thanks to a generous $100,000 donation from Time Warner Cable, K12 was able to expand into our current facilitya newly renovated gallery and studio space. Our space was designed with young artists in mind.
Upon entering the 3,000 square foot space, visitors and students experience the Time Warner Cable ArtZone, a vibrant art gallery with glass doors opening up to Third Street. We have two studio areas, one for younger children and one for more advanced student artists.
K12's
emphasis on displaying completed artwork distinguishes us
from most other children's art programs. Here, young artists
participate fully in selecting, mounting, organizing and
hanging art.
As our programs and class sizes continue to evolve, we have too. When we moved into this space, it marked a transition in our growth as an organizationfrom grass roots to a more professional arts establishment. We are grateful that Time Warner Cable chose to help us make that transition.
