K12 is the only gallery in the state to exhibit young people's artwork on a year-round basis. Monthly exhibitions feature a variety of media and are displayed at the Time Warner Cable ArtZone Sales Gallery for four to six weeks.
These exhibitions provide children with real affirmation of their creative intelligence and encourage them in ways you cannot imagine. Hundreds of parents and patrons regularly attend the opening reception "art parties" and delight in what the children have created!
In partnership with The Circus Organization, Senior Exhibitions in our senior studio feature the work done by some of
Dayton’s youngest and most-talented artists. Each exhibition will feature a First Friday opening reception from 6-10 pm.
Free to the general public.
Elementary Art Exhibitions : K12 and Web Gallery (Every 6 weeks)
K12 is the only gallery in the state to exhibit young people’s artwork on a year-round basis. Monthly exhibitions feature a variety of media and are displayed at the Time Warner Cable Artzone Sales Gallery.
Your school or PTO can sponsor the six-week art exhibition for a nominal fee. K12 designs the art opening invitation and every student at your school receives their own personal invitation featuring artwork created by your students on the invite! Every opening reception will award “Best in Show” cash purchase prize winners sponsored by Deck the Walls, and Honorary Mention prizes sponsored by our corporate sponsors. All of the student artwork will be posted on our on-line virtual gallery, where people from across the nation can view their artwork. The children receive affirmation of their creative intelligence through the exhibits. The exhibits also encourage the young artists to continue creating. Hundreds of parents and patrons regularly attend the opening reception and delight in what the children have created and accomplished.
