Saturday Art Classes:

Teen Studio for College Preparation & Portfolio Review (Grades 7-12)

These studio workshops are designed to prepare middle and high school students for work or college. Students may also create works of art to be sold in the sales gallery. Put your creativity to work!

Time:

11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Cost:

Art Club Pass for four Saturdays - $50 per member or $80 per non-member; $20 per individual workshop

Senior studio students must call (937) 461-5149 to register one week in advance.

November 2009

Mosaic Holiday Glass Windows: Learn the Art of Mosaic by creating your very own glass windows. This is an extended class, from 11:00am-2:00pm, please bring a lunch. Taught by artist Kelly Sexton.

December 2009

Found Object Pen and Ink Drawings. Taught by artist Tiffany Allyn Clark.

January 2010

Pottery Throwing: Hollow Heads. Taught by master potter Jason Dryden.

February 2010

Glass Firing: Learn the unique art of firing glass to create handfired glass sculptures. Taught by artist Jason Dryden.

March 2010

Fantastic make-believe painting. Taught by artist Heather Reid.

April 2010

Basic Metal Smithing. Taught by metal artist Brooke Medlin.

May 2010

Henna Painting and Drawing on wooden found objects. Taught by Henna artist Lily Whitehead.

   

Photoshop Class

Photoshop classes are offered in partnership with the School of Advertising Art & Design.  Classes are limited to six students.  This class must have six students pre-registered to run.  Classes will be offered in September, January, March and May.  Classes are taught by Shawn Green.

Cost:

$50 for members (4 class pass), $80 for non-members (4 class pass)
