Jerri Stanard, Founder & Executive Director
Jerri began K12 Gallery for Young People 13 years ago. She holds a MA in Art Education from the University of Dayton and a BFA from Wright State University. In 2002, Jerri was recognized as one of the Dayton Daily News Top Ten Women of Dayton for K12 Gallery, her community contributions and her art awards. In 2000, Jerri won the Ohio Art Councils Emerging Leader Award. Jerri taught art in the Dayton Public Schools and served as the gallery coordinator at Sinclair Community College. Jerri has intimate knowledge of every facet of K12 Gallery because over the years she has done it all.
Muriel Meray, Program Director
Muriel is responsible for programming for all K12 programs: Artist in Training, Creative Learning After School Studio (C.L.A.S.S.), Friday Night Party, Saturday Art Workshops, Summer Art Camp, Artist in Residence, Community Outreach, Special Needs classes and Picasso Potters. As a potter, Muriel has won many awards from the Ohio Designer Craftsmen. She ran her own gallery in Yellow Springs from 1997-2004. She also owned galleries in Cape Cod and Florida. Muriel has a Masters in Art Education from Eastern Kentucky University and a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Fine Arts.
